Elementary Grammar and Composition

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. This work is a revision of the author's Elementary Grammar, first published in 1869. Although many changes have been made, especially in the arrangement of topics, the author has kept steadily in view, in the work of revision, the aim he had in the preparation of the original treatise - to present the subject in a style neither too difficult for the beginner, nor too simple for the advanced student.
