Drewbie Loves to Camp

Join Drewbie and his nurse, Colleen, as they go on adventures together. Nothing slows this special-needs boy down from camping, joining Cub Scout, going to school, and even going on a Make-A-Wish trip. Colleen creates ways that Drewbie can enjoy the same things other boys his age enjoy with creativity and enthusiasm. This dynamic duo shows families that with some basic adaptations, a diagnosis of differently abled doesn't mean a death sentence or a life of boredom. This series explores the perspective of a young boy with a fatal disease to belong and interact with the world around him. Although wheelchair-bound and nonverbal, this young man enjoyed life to the fullest through his nurse and family. The series seeks to inspire and encourage other families with special needs to embrace life and not let a disability stop you from enjoying it.
