Contemporary Politics in the Far East

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. During the past year there have occurred in the Far East events no less important than were those of 1894-1898, 1900, 1904-1905, and 1911 - 1912, but, so fully has the great war in Europe occupied the attention of the Western world, most of us have given little thought to the affairs of China and Japan. The significance and the effect of these developments will in time be more widely realized.
