The concern with politics, the attempt to understand its doctrines and explore its secrets, is the character of this age, full of great events and terrible calamities, in which humanity is suffering from one of the most violent crises, exerting strenuous efforts, and enduring bitter pain. Politics has dominated minds and penetrated every aspect of life. The taxes imposed on us, the justice we seek and seek refuge in, the establishment of security, or the disruption of its bond in times of peace, the incitement of wars and the resulting destruction and devastation, the extent of the freedom we are allowed to work or speak, the means of the components of our lives and the foundations of our existence, have all become affected by politics and colored by it.
