Sea water surge was as high as the second-floor level. There was death, famine and destruction never before imagined in our lifetime. Only the walls and flooring were left of our once delightful home. Despite the ruins and destruction, we are still thankful to God as He preserved and protected my family. Others were not as lucky. They lost the whole family, and mostly family members perished.
