Bailiff Law

Significant changes to the law of enforcement of debts by bailiffs were implemented in 2014. Among other things, The Tribunal Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 provided a new regime for the recovery of debts by seizure of goods. The changes also put in place new mandatory training and certification requirements for bailiffs, as well as simplifying the fees they are allowed to charge.
