Back of Genius

Chen Yan is an essayist and her words are light and comfortable but full of emotion. The selected works in the book are about homesick, affection to relatives, no utilitarian contacts with literary teachers and friends, recalling the glory of the century-old Qin opera, revealing his creative mind in the preface and postscript, and discussion about literary propositions, all of which are friendly, frank and affectionate.
