Additionally, he earned a Diploma in French from the Alliance Francaisein Belgium. Prior to his retirement in 2010, Rev. Johnson served for 21 years as pastor ofClinton Avenue Presbyterian Church, in Newark, New Jersey and was the fi rst Jamaican tobe elected as moderator of a regional presbytery in the over two-hundred-year history of thePresbyterian Church, USA.
