Winston Loves Turtles

Winston is a new student in his class. Because of health issues, he is bookish and loves to read, especially about turtles. Some of his class bully him. He becomes a Marine Turtle Patrol Volunteer; his job is to watch a certain turtle egg nest on St. Augustine Beach. His teacher ends a unit on sea turtles with a field trip to the beach. The class sees a great final lesson as the baby turtles make their way to the sea, and Winston becomes a class hero.
