When I Grow Up

Author, Travis J. Groth, writes his first children's book in memory of his son who died unexpectedly in 2015 and has dedicated it to his daughter, Sadie. Losing a child inspired him to reflect upon the life lessons of his childhood. He hopes to inspire not only his daughter, but other children, to dream big while living in the present.

About the Author

Growing up in East Tennessee shaped Travis J. Groth's values but none as important as those his parents instilled in him: "You can be anything you want" and "never wish away the present because, it will be gone before you know it." His book, When I Grow Up, highlights some of the occupations he envisioned for himself as a young child and strives to teach his daughter and all children the lessons he learned at a young age.
