Evander's life takes a dramatic turn when he meets a strange girl named Ruth in a village in the jungles of Venezuela. Deprived of any affection by his family his entire life, Evander is wonderstruck by Ruth's kindness, but also distrustful of her suspicious behaviour.

Ruth has secrets and baggage of her own. And a confidential mission to complete. So, when Evander asks one too many questions, she takes a drastic step, irrevocably intertwining their fates.
