Always forthright about challenges encountered in her personal quest to live a more spiritual existence, India's lessons of patience, flexibility, and tolerance are sometimes difficult for the author to embrace. Nevertheless, her enthusiasm of looking at them as though "through the eyes of a child" captures the reader's imagination. Her unabashed love for the intensity and paradoxes of the country continues to grow throughout her trip.
