Vulnerability, Desire and Violence

This research offers a current analysis between Philosophy and Psychoanalysis regarding the notion of vulnerability as it is developed and elaborated by the feminist philosophers Judith Butler and Adriana Cavarero. In this sense, its purpose is to enlighten which are the theoretical potentialities of this concept, outlining its genealogy, and to which extent it endeavours to produce a critical dialogue with Psychoanalysis, namely in its Lacanian vein.
