AJ Grey's life has gotten back to normal after she turned in the necromancer who tried to kill her. At least, as normal as it gets for a supernatural investigator whose job revolves around keeping the average human oblivious to the things that go bump in the night.

Then, there's another attempt on her life. And this time, it's personal.

Death threats are an occupational hazard for a position that sometimes requires her to burn first and ask questions later. But this killer has been targeting tattoo witches, of which there are only a handful in the country.

Including AJ.

The previous victims, AJ's friends, died in horrible ways, and now their powers belong to their murderer. With few clues and fewer people she's sure she can trust, AJ has to find the killer before she becomes the next victim.
