Urban Shelter and Services

This book addresses the urgent need for adequate shelter and services for the urban poor in developing countries. It not only examines the evolution and performance of policies and projects, but also analyzes factors which effect policy implementation, and identifies alternative approaches for upgrading settlements as well as increasing access of the poor to these shelters.
