Towing the Moon

A story of love and conflict. When she was very young, Mary Robello married the son of an autocratic, self-righteous Catholic patriarch. Now with all of her children off to school she finds she is a stranger to herself. To fill the void she becomes a teacher's aide and develops a crush on a teacher-a woman. This is not a new experience for her and this time she cannot avoid what it means about herself. But she doesn't have the means to support her children. And even if he couldn't win, her father-in-law would put her children, and everyone else in the family, through hell in a fight for custody of them. How can Mary express her true nature, be with the woman she loves, and support and protect her children?
