Jeronimo de Carranza wrote his treatise "The Philosophy of Arms". This is a humanistic dialogue dedicated to the presentation of a new art of fencing, called La Verdadera Destreza. This new form of fencing, elevating the activity into an art and a science, revolutionized the spanish fencing school. After him, it was Luis Pacheco de Narv ez, which expanded upon Carranza's concepts. Alberto Bomprezzi has been investigating and practicing Verdadera Destreza since 2002.
