The Theory of Functional Connections

This book summarizes the mathematical theory and the current most relevant applications of the Theory of Functional Connections. This theory is a framework for functional interpolation, which details a general methodology to embed a set of constraints in interpolating functionals. These functionals describe the infinite set of functions satisfying the constraints. This book contains college graduate material, and only requires basic knowledge of linear algebra, differential equations, and nonlinear least-squares.
