The Quilter's Night Before Christmas

The poem "The Night Before Christmas" has provided generations of children with delight and anticipation of Christmas day. This book pays tribute to that poem, showcasing it alongside 29 festive quilt scenes, for a beautiful read aloud family experience. Each quilter included in the book created their own artistic rendition of a stanza they love from the poem.

Nine antique and vintage holiday inspired quilt patterns are also included in this book, with complete instructions, to inspire today's quilt makers to create their own festive bed coverings. These nine patterns are appropriately named after the eight reindeer and, of course, Rudolph. Some patterns are re-creations from old, traditional quilt designs, while others put a modern spin on a vintage design. Some patterns can be hand-pieced, while others use fast, new, rotary-cutting techniques.
