The profitability of investing in motorcycling in Uvira

The profitability of an investment implies a careful study of the project in order to choose the most efficient one. The aim of this article is to study the profitability of road transport investments in the town of Uvira. Our target population was 80 motorcyclist-owners. Exploratory factorial analysis helped us to determine the key variables after purification, and these were used in the multiple regression. The Net Present Value (NPV) results show that the project is profitable, with a Profitability Index of 1.06, an Internal Rate of Return of 18.09% and a rate of return on the monetary unit invested of 1.41%.
