Well paced & suspenseful without being frightening, the plot artfully draws the reader in.
Cleverly crafted and without being at all patronising, but 'Wordwise' enabled, if needed.
Although I read the book in one sitting, the chapters are just the right length to give a younger reader a sense of real accomplishment.
