The Complicated History of Thomas

Shortly after WW2, a childless couple from a small village in the Moorlands set out to London to adopt a child. The desire to rectify that one missing aspect of their lives results in an unforeseen tragedy. Just over a decade later, a young couple on a night out in Surrey are confronted with a traumatic experience that will have far reaching effects. The two dark occurrences are somehow linked to each other. But how... and why? Some of the answers, and more, are hidden in the journal pages of a disturbed teenager by the name of Freddie Dawson.
