The Bible Taproot

The Bible Taproot explores the beginnings of the chronological Bible teaching movement and the benefits and challenges to using this approach to evangelism and discipleship. The Bible Taproot is a book about rediscovering a teaching method that Jesus himself used, as seen in Luke 24:13-25. Evidently Jesus thought that starting at the beginning and teaching chronologically through the scriptures was a good idea.For most people the chronological foundational method of teaching the Bible is a new concept. Since the mid-1980's it has grown in worldwide popularity to become one of the major Bible teaching methods amongst missionaries, pastors, Sunday school teachers, and Christian leaders. Some have compared this style of teaching to a tree's taproot. Foundational chronological teaching helps people to be planted into the core Bible doctrines with an incredible depth of understanding the same way the taproot of a tree anchors to the ground.
