Selfishness is one sure way to ruin any relationship, especially a marriage. We wanted to share ten concepts that we have learned from our own marriage and from gathering information from our grand-parents who combined were married for 125 years. We also want to share the pitfalls Melvin discovered by spending nine years listening to thousands of divorce cases. This book is intended for the reader to honestly evaluate his or her own actions and make the changes that will take "me" out of the relationship. By focusing more on what you can do to please your partner and less on what your partner can do to please you, your relationship will become more about "us" and less about "me".
