Supply chain management

The book was written based on the article 'Supply Chain Management: A Literature Review', by the authors: Tainara Rigotti de Castro, Karoline Yoshiko Gon alves, Priscilla Bassetto and Regiane Silva do Espirito Santo, published in the proceedings of the VII Brazilian Congress of Production Engineering (CONBREPRO). Supply chain management is one of the sub-areas of logistics in Production Engineering and encompasses all the stages from the customer's order to its delivery, emphasising the importance of planning and controlling the supply chain in order to obtain the best flow of products and information, generating a better service in relation to the competition and consequently a better competitive advantage and profitability for those involved. The aim was to carry out a review of articles published in events in the area that discuss the importance of the themes, seeking to stratify the data in relation to the year of publication, event published, year of publication and event published, methodology used, year of publication and methodology used, event published and methodology used, sector of application and methodology used and theme covered.
