There are a variety of reasons that individuals choose to join the military. Some join to find a purpose or learn a skill while others might join as a sense of patriotic duty or a desire to serve their country. Regardless the reason, because of their sacrifice, we are able to enjoy the civil liberties that we hold so dearly.
