Stop The Violence Poems

Do The Write Thing of DC and Red Sprinkle Fashion Boot Camp engaged Hart Middle School students in a violence prevention program that included poetry writing workshops. The students wrote original poems (in free verse) to promote peace along with peace haikus after studying the work of Sonia Sanchez. The students also added a little levity to their work and included dozens of clerihews.
