Sociology of Religion

This book examines society through a religious lens. The first part of this book begins with general references on religion and piety in the Arab and Western cultures, and then deals with the characteristics of religion and the foundations of religions. The second part deals with general introductions in sociology and its connection to the term civil society, Western theories in the study of social sciences, issues beyond sociology, and the sociology of religion and modernity.
