Smart Wastewater Technologies

This work discusses advancements in biotechnology to remediate toxic pollutants from wastewater caused by industries and human activities. The combination of better sensors and new water treatment technologies is a strong enabler for decentralised and diversified water treatment. The authors present innovative research addressing these challenges and discuss successful wastewater treatment systems.
