She Rises

She Rises is a collection of poetry from an Indigenous woman's perspective that tackles subjects such as surviving intimate partner violence (domestic violence), psychological, spiritual, emotional, sexual abuse, healing from intergenerational trauma, and finding growth through poetry and embracing the healing journey. It also discusses decolonization, and what it means to re-connect to culture and spirituality after a long period of dis-connection.
