Sex And Abuse

Abuse is an ugly word, and an ugly thing, but yet so many women, and men alike have experienced its blows. Abuse comes in many forms, and some have experienced abuse in many ways, physically, verbally, mentally, and emotionally. I too have personally experienced abuse to a degree, on a small scale, but either way, it goes, abuse is still abuse, no matter in what degree it comes. Why are some women drawn or addicted to abusive men? What makes a woman go back time after time again to an abusive man? Is it perhaps, this is all she knows? Or, could it be that she has such low self-esteem, she doesn't feel she deserve any better for her self and no one else would want her? I believe it's all the above.
