As a young puppy, MDD Rico never imagined that he would become a hero dog. He saved countless lives by sniffing out landmines in Bosnia-Herzegovina. After working for six years with his human handler, Rico retired and moved to the United States. Now eight years old, MDD Rico works as the Canine Ambassador for the Marshall Legacy Institute.
