Reflections of a Gray Man

Joel Rapoport finds himself with a lot of time on his hands. He should. He's now in his late seventies, retired for four years, comfortable, a widower, recently divorced from his second wife-and lonely. So each time he ventures out from his modest, downsized home, he seldom skips an opportunity to flirt with any woman he happens upon who lights his bulb. Whether she's an associate at a retail store, attending nurse during a hospital stay, or front office lady at his primary care provider, Joel's desire to gain her interest as more than just a patron is unrelenting. But deep down inside, Joel begins to fear he can no longer live up to the demands of another serious relationship. Because of waning health he's lost the drive to once again pursue the ritual of wooing and winning a new lady, let alone take it all the way to intimacy. Then why does his desire refuse to die together with his fading hopes?
