Radish cultivation irrigated with treated wastewater

Water reuse in agriculture is an alternative for vegetable irrigation, especially in areas of water scarcity. This technique contributes to the control of environmental pollution, water and fertiliser savings, nutrient recycling and increased agricultural productivity. However, due to improper use there is an accumulation of residues in the soil that must be constantly monitored, so that there is no contamination of the soil-water-plant system.
