This book includes preparation, exercises, tips and tricks for an easier and quicker labor, and how to plan for both the labor and the postpartum time, loosely called the Fourth Trimester.

Kim's journey into the world of Birth started in 2001. She draws from her experience as a professional Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula and Chest (Breast) Feeding Counsellor. She has learned many tricks and has numerous suggestions on how you can prepare for your child's birth, and she will fill in the blanks that can sometimes seem so mysterious and overwhelming. This book was written to enlighten and educate for a better Birthing experience.

Kim's first book, What Does a Doula Do? was published in 2011, and explains why hiring a Doula for your delivery can make your Birth an easier and hopefully, a shorter delivery.
