Play! Recorders in the Classroom

Music can be a helpful tool to bring pupils together, and the ability to master a musical instrument can be a source of confidence during the challenging time when pupils transition to high school.

This guide helps teachers to assist their students in Classes 6 and 7 (11-13 years) to advance their skills on all four recorders (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass or SATB). At this stage pupils can often play more sophisticated works on the recorder.
