Beim Waardenburg-Syndrom wird ein opera tives Vorgehen in zwei Schritten empfohlen. In der ersten Sitzung die Korrektur des Epi canthus, der Blepharophimose und des Tele canthus, in der zweiten Sitzung wenn mog lich die Ptosisoperation und eine Narbenkor rektur. Wesentlich ist auch eine fruhzeitige Diagnostik von Motilitatsstorungen und Re fraktionsanomalien und eine Brillenverord nung oder eine Occlusionsbehandlung. Summary. A surgical procedure in two steps is presented for plastic surgery of Waardenburgs Syndrome (Ptosis, Blepharophimosis, Epican thus). In the first step the epicanthus, blepharo phimosis and telecanthus is corrected. In a second session a transcutaneous levatorresection is per formed and if necessary scars of previous proce dures will be excised. The early diagnosis and therapy of motility disorders and of ametropia is crucial for these patients. Abb. 4.
