Overcomer

We are all bound to face great tribulations in life that rock the very fibers of our souls. No one gets a pass on tribulation for we were fore warned, "In this world you will have trouble." We can choose to lose heart or allow the adversity to become our fuel for growth. This is where I found myself as I faced a devastating diagnosis of breast cancer. I decided to take God at His word, "Take heart For I have overcome the world."(John 16:33) Through overwhelming mental attacks, debilitating fear and extreme anguish on my body and soul, I chose to call myself an "Overcomer" for I knew that this cancer could never be my label. As I drew near to the one who conquered the world I became stronger in the Lord and in the power of His might. Cancer is a bully that has snuffed out the lives of too many people. That is why I chose to share my journey and be the voice shouting in the wilderness for the entire world to hear. "MY GOD IS GREATER THAN CANCER" This book is meant to encourage those who are facing the battle of their lives. Know that you are not alone and this battle doesn't have to take you out.
