Nutrient management in rice fallow sorghum

This book explain about the How the different nitrogen levels alone and in combination with FYM and Bio fertilizers will effect the Yield and yield attributing characters of sorghum and soil properties and how these treatments influences the enzyme activities and microbial populations in soil after harvest of the crop. Even though application of nutrient inputs other than fertilizer is uncommon in rice fallows, the present attempt of integrated use of nutrients in rice fallows aiming at soil health management under cereal-cereal sequence. This resulted in not only a significant increase in yield but also improved the soil health by increasing Organic carbon, available nutrient contents on soil biological activity.
