New Approach to Etiopathogenezis of Depression

Neuroplasticity hypothesis of depression has the potential to make important contributions to the diagnosis of depression, and it may be helpful in the explanation of the drug effects that cannot be explained by neurochemical mechanisms. Also, it seems that it may lead to the development of new and more effective drugs for depression and entrance of this drug to treatment in a short time. This book examines the neuroplasticity hypothesis in the context of depression.
