She continually strives for her husband's release in the face of her father's twisted, insane vengeance, brought about by his growing fear of the threat to his crown, through the conjoined bloodline of Isabella and Robert de Bell me. Terrified for her own safety and Henry's attempts to murder her children, Isabella responds with little more than primitive instinct, retreating ever deeper into the wilderness of assassin, planning her own particular brand of retribution.
