Its solutions are inspired by principles of Christian philosophy and adapted to actual conditions of society. Ren I. Holaind 1836-1913], a Jesuit, was a notable neo-scholastic philosopher. He was Professor of Ethics and Sociology at Woodstock College, and Lecturer on Natural and Canon Law at Georgetown University.
