Napoleonic Frankenstein

Frankenstein and his monster have captured the imagination of readers for many years. Mary Shelley, and even Byron were fascinated by the new developments with static electricity and the effects it had on living tissue. Battles gave opportunities for surgeons to expand their knowledge on treatments of wounded soldiers. This fictional story is about how one surgeon at the battle of Waterloo (a new Frankenstein) used current knowledge to try and extend human life and was successful.
