My AfterWife's Quest

A spirited memoir of a dearly departed's quest to heal the hearts of the loved ones she left behind. It chronicles two stories of HOW HARRY MET SALLY, but from a very unique perspective. It's an impassionate compilation of stories revisited after a quarter century relationship up until recently. It's not a depiction of melancholy typically to suggest how one should deal with life after the passing of a loved - although that's exactly how one feels in the wake. On the contrary, it tells serendipitous stories of happenstances where lost souls were able to pick up the pieces. The dilemma was it was sooner than relatives and some friends intended. It suggests that if one succumbs to those reasons, life continues and may pass you by. It chronicles detail happenstances rationalized to be otherworldly of the 'gift' of a new relationship. What makes this new relationship different is not only the fact that is it long distance - Fort Lauderdale and the Virgin Islands - based on the lifestyles, we should have never met. It chronicles a half hour online meeting that was different and intriguing, how the relationship was clandestinely navigated from similarly aged sons, the rebuke from my in-laws immediately after they were informed, and how perseverance, in the end, the realization that only the person looking in the mirror knows when it's time for your life to begin again. The book was also written to bring solace to those experiencing grief to have another outlook on life reminding you in the end if your cherished memories live on, no one really dies.
