Moving Forward - From Tragedy to Sunshine

On July 30th, 2012 my boyfriend, and my daughter's father, John, passed away. It was 2 weeks before our daughter turned 4 years old. I spent the next year completely numb. I woke up every morning, took my daughter to school, and went to work. I rarely saw my daughter and knew that we needed a change. We needed to live and not just to exist. We sold all of our possessions and moved to Tamarindo, Costa Rica almost a year to the date of John's passing. Moving Forward is a memoir that I chose to write not only to help me with my healing process, but also to provide hope to others who have lost a loved one. You won't necessarily move on, but you can move forward.
