Max's Wild Life

Written by 7 year old Max, this book is about Max's life as a wildlife carer. It is about some of the amazing animals he has shared his home with and explains what wildlife carers do. It talks about the Wombats he used to sleep with, penguins he has bathed with and even some cheeky ibis.

Max is Autistic and has ADHD. Living in Melbourne through the COVID-19 Pandemic, Max was put into remote learning and really struggled with his mental health. Writing this book has helped his self-esteem, his confidence, his handwriting and so much more. All the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Animalia Wildlife Shelter to help them help the native wildlife.
