Maisie's Reckoning

How far would you go to get rich? It's the spring of 1887, and life seems to be going well for Maisie Galway, who married her best friend and is expecting a baby. Maisie's life quickly changes when her husband, Gavin, is robbed and shot at their family gem store. His brush with death results in a commitment to Christ, but Maisie doubts her husband's newfound faith - If there is a God, how could He let these terrible things happen? With few clues, Kirk and Matthew Bannister, along with the new sheriff of Santa Rosa, California, struggle to track down the shooter.
