A wide variety of transgressions are part of everyday life for many people, be it abuse of power, violence, or sexual assault. The various contributions take a look at this complex of topics from different angles. In addition to biblical, historical, and theological perspectives, educational institutions, churches/mosques, sports, and violent homes are also included. The contributers also uncover the interplay between power, violence, and sex as well as the social consequences of this. They also suggest that a critical approach to transgressions and sensitization to the topic should be part of educational processes. For this reason, this volume aims to encourage further discussion and reflection on one's own values.
