Machine Translation and the Information Soup

This book constitutes the proceedings of the Third Conference of the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas, AMTA'98, held in Langhorne, PA, USA, in November 1998.The book presents 43 revised full papers carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in the proceedings together with nine systems descriptions.
