Letters For Mateo

I wrote these letters for my son, Mateo. When I started writing them he was 4 years old. I was thinking of sending them to him by email, so he can read them when he grows up. But then I decided that I wanted to deliver them myself, physically, into his hands. The letters contain my answers to some questions he asked me, and which I answered to the best of my ability at the time. I also included many things that I wrote during my life, without knowing who I was writing them for. Now I know that I wrote them for him. I printed them and showed them to him. "What is this? It's a book?" Yes, it is a book for you. "Is this a story? Does this have drawings?" No, it's not a story and it doesn't have pictures, but I can write you a story later. "It has a lot of words " Yes, you'll read them when you grow up. "OK". And we went to play together. My son, if this is you reading this, I hope this book, your book, is of some use to you.
